Bradford City top brass has refuted claims that boss Nicky Laws is about to jump ship and join Derby County as manager.

Bradford City top brass has refuted claims that boss Nicky Laws is about to jump ship and join Derby County as manager.

With John Gregory being suspended from the East Midlands club , Derby are reported to be looking at Nicky Laws at Bradford.

Laws has done a great job at Bradford , who even before a ball was kicked at the start of the season didn't know there fate to wether they would fold or not , he has overseen player calming in the face of unpaid wages and has sold of stars.

Laws also has seen his relegation threatned side pull together and work hard to get away from the drop zone and thats why his name has been mentioned as a successor to the Pride Park throne.

Bradford managing director Shaun Harvey said ""We're aware of the speculation about Nicky, but it is always rife when a position becomes available."

"Nicky is always going to be linked with jobs due to his success both here and at Chesterfield but we've had no contact with Derby."
