Play-off round up

In the first game Millwall travelled to in form Birmingam. The Blues were tipped heavily to brush aside Mark McGhees Millwall but not everything went to plan.

Birmingham took the lead though through Bryan Hughes, despite off-side claims by the Millwall defence. Millwall would not lie down and inspired by Stephen Reid in the midfield equalised when Dion Dublin headed Reid's cross in with 10 minutes to go.

In the second game Norwich faced a daunting task against a sure to be fired up Wolves. Having thrown away an 11 point lead over the closing weeks of the season Dave Jones' men were favourites going into the game. As we know though in these games, odds and the form-book goes straight out of the window.

Wolves took the lead to silence the Carrow Road crowd through Dean Sturridge after 20 minutes.

The second half brought a total change around as Norwich dominated over a very poor Wolves team. Winger Mark Rivers got the eqauliser 10 minutes in. Former Spurs youth Paul McVeigh gave the Canaries the lead with a fantastic floating header after ghosting unmarked into the Wolves box. Then with Woves pressing for a vital equaliser defender, Malky Mackay gave Norwich their third in injury time.

Norwich travel to Wolves on Wednesday and Birmingham travel to Millwall on Thursday to decide who will go to Cardiff.
