Norwich: A season of success?

With the play-off final approaching at the weekend we decided to let the fans of Norwich and Birmingham to have their say. Today Norwich fan, James Telford tells us his view of the season and looks to the big game.

At the start of the season all the media pundits were tipping the Canaries to have another season of under-achieving and battling against relegation, and after the first game against Millwall away which we lost 4-0 as well as losing our club captain Neil Emblem for what would turn out to be the rest of the season. So to even be in the top 10 of arguably the hardest league in the country is a great result, but to finish in top 6 in arguably the best form of any of the other play-off candidates. When our horrendous away from is considered you realise just how well we've done this season.

As for the players who have helped turn this season into a successful campaign three names spring to mind : Player of the Year Gary Holt, Robert Green and Paul McVeigh. Although big Iwan Roberts has been injured for most of the second half of the season and goals have been hard to come by, Malky Mackay has hit (or should I say headed) some very important goals including ones against Stockport and Wolves.

Again being classed as the underdog shows the grit and determination that has got us into the playoff’s and 90mins away from the promised land of the Premiership.

Lets hope we can make it to the promised land, but lets not forget what ever happens on Sunday its been a great season for the club!
