Forest linked Lewis/Brennan to Burnley?

Nottm Forest have been linked with Fulham's US World Cup star Eddie Lewis.

Midfielder, Lewis, is a household 'soccer' name in the US but is heavily out of favour with Fulham boss Jean Tigana.

Lewis was at the centre of a huge club Vs country battle last month as US team boss Bruce Arena was keen for Lewis to join up with the US National team in preperation for the World Cup, however Tigana refused to let Lewis leave until the Premiership season was over and Fulham were safe. This led to a public war of words between Arean and Tigana in which Arena called Tigana a 'Jackass' in the Washington Post.

Nottm Forest left-back Jim Brennan could be set for a £800,000 move to First Divsion rivals Burnley. The Canadian international had his best season in a Forest shirt this year and has caught the eye of Burnley boss, Stan Ternant.

Despite his form for Forest over the last season, they may not have much option in selling him due to their crippling debts.
