The results are in and Wolves have retained their top spot while at the other end, Stockport lose once again to go to one defeat to certain relegation.

The biggest match of today ended 2-2, Grimsby Vs Walsall. Deapsite Grimsby twice taking the lead through Groves(11) and Leitao(80) Wallsall came back even if their first goal wasn't scored by them, instead it was a own goal by Grimsby's Roper(52). Then on the stroke of full time they scored the equaliser through Byfield. The Yorkshire derby between Barnsley and Sheff Utd also ended a draw after Sheff Utd took the lead through Jaffo after 20 minutes, Bruce Dyer proved his crtics wrong by equalising 5 minutes before half time. Burnley kept their pride in the North West beating rivals, 9 men Stockport, 2-0 with goals from Taylor and Cox in the second half. Stockport have now had at least 1 man sent off in 4 of their last 5 games. Gillingham and Sheff Wed drew 0-0 as did Forest and Wimbledon. Watford ended their bad form when they beat Palace 2-0 as Place carry on their bad form. Nielsen and Gayle with goals on the stroke of half time and seconds after the re-start. Two goals from Hughes saw Coventry beat Norwich 2-1 after Norwich went 1-0 ahead with a Libbra goal. Birmingham crawled back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with league leaders Wolves. Butler and Lescott put Wolves ahead in the mid-day match within 9 minutes but Stern John and Devlin cancelled them out just before half-time. Portsmouth sudenly hit form at home against Millwall when they went 2-0 up within 10 minutes through Biagini and O'Neil but with no reply Pitt seald a 3-0 win for Portmouth after 52 minutes. Preston skimmed past Rotherham with 2 goals from Cresswell either half but they had a scare when Lee got Rotherham a equlaiser, the match finished 2-1.
