Whalley Signs For Cardiff

Bradford City's Gareth Whalley will sign for Cardiff City later today. He was one of 16 players sacked from Bradford earlier this year.

Whalley joined Bradford from Crewe in 1997 but since Jim Jefferies took charge and then Nicky Law he's had limited football. It was no suprise when he had his contract terminated and went on loan to Crewe for 3 months.

Only last week Lennie Lawrence approached him and over the last 5 days the 27 year old has been dicussing a 3 year contract at Ninian park, if his medical goes well today, he will join the 2nd division team.
