Millwall linked with Paul Hall

Millwall have been linked with a shocking swoop for Rushden and Diamond winger Paul Hall.

The 30-year-old winger joined Rushden mid-way through last season from Walsall and was one of the Diamonds star men as they attempted to gain promotion at the first attempt from the 3rd Division. That effort was in vain as they were defeated by Cheltenham in the Play Off Final but Hall was still a class above Division 3.

With Marc Bircham and Christophe Kinet leaving Millwall boss Mark McGhee is left short of midfielders and with Tim Cahill strongly linked with a move to Aston Villa and several Premiership teams sniffing around Steven Reid, McGhee seems to be preparing for a new look midfield.

It is thought that Hall would cost in the region of £150,000.
