Francis has 2 new faces lined up

Crystal Palace boss Trevor Francis hopes to add to new siging Andy Johnson by bringing in Shaun Derry and Dele Adebola.

Subject to a medical Derry should sign from Portsmouth this week. The midfielder is surplus to requirements under Harry Redkanpp. Francis revealed the details to the Pompey website. "Shaun is here in the midst of doing his medical. A fee has been agreed between us and Portsmouth, and personal terms have also been agreed with his advisors.

"So we're on the way to bringing another player here and I'm hopeful that the deal will go through at some point on Wednesday."

Adebola is without a club at the moment having been released by Birmingham. He spent the final part of last season at Oldham. Francis said that he wants to have a look at Adebola before making a decision. Dele's a free agent and he's training with us for three or four days.

"We'll look at him in training and in the game against Spurs, and then come the end of the week we'll have a sit down and decide what the next move will be.
