The future of Bradford City Football Club was today secured after the clubs creditors voted to accept the offer put forward by the club of 10 pence in each pound they are owed.

The acceptance of the Company Voluntary Agreement (CVA) is great news for Bradford fans, if the credtiors had refused the offer the club would have certainly gone to the wall.

The club should now be able to put together a financial plan for the next season, this must be submitted to the Football League by 8 August or the club would face expulsion.

We will have more on this story as it develops.
