Preston and West Brom have finally agreed a £2million fee for the Preston skipper and after good progress on the contract front, he will meet up with his new manager on Sunday to have a medical.

Tony Scholes, the Preston Chairman, confirmed the deal was about to go through - subject to medical. He also said "...We never wanted Sean to go but we had an agreement. If a premiership team were to come in and match he valuation then we would let him go..."
