Preston after Eddie Lewis

Preston boss Craig Brown has admitted that he is tracking Fulham's out of favour midfielder Eddie Lewis.

Following the sale of Sean Gregan to West Brom, Brown has cash to spend and has made Lewis one of his first targets.

Lewis is very much out of favour at Craven Cottage despite impressing in the World Cup with the United States team that reached the quarter finals.

Speaking to the club website Brown admitted the interest. "There is an interest in Eddie Lewis, yes.

"Eddie Lewis is a good left-sided player at Fulham. He played for the USA in the World Cup. He played in the quarter final of the World Cup and played very well so Eddie Lewis is a target."
