Rave promise to Derby fans

Derby striker Fabrizio Ravenelli has promised to help Derby back into the Premier League.

The Italian striker is one of the high earners at the club that John Gregory is desperate to clear out as the club feel the pinch from the lack of income. Ravenelli however wants to stay at Pride Park and fire The Rams to promotion. "My aim is to help Derby return to The Premiership".

The 'White Feather' looked as though he would join Portsmouth last week in a bizaree deal where Derby would still pay half his wages, this underlined just how desperate Derby are to offload the high-earner who is rumoured to be on a staggering £40,000 a week.
