Wrexham manager Denis Smith was justifiably satisfied with his side's performance in their 4-2 win over Blackpool with a double from Llewellyn & Sam.

Wrexham manager Denis Smith was justifiably satisfied with his side's performance in their 4-2 win over Blackpool.

"First half we could have scored but we did look like we could concede a few," said Smith after Wrexham's third successive Division Two win which sent Wrexham to 6th.

"Second half we settled it down and kept the ball better. I thought we were totally in control.

"Darren Ferguson controlled the midfield and the boys at the back looked sound." said Smith

Chris Llewellyn and Hector Sam scored 2 goals each, with Llewellyn's opening strike after 15 minutes the pick of the goals. "That's how he finishes in training so it was great to see him doing it in a game," added Smith. "He got a slight flick for the second goal, but all strikers need to get all sorts of goals."
