Lee Jones' comeback for the reserves was called off due to a waterlogged pitch. Nine senior players were due to play this evening before the weekend game at home to Stockport County.

| Denis Smith's hopes of giving nine senior players a run out for the reserves on Wednesday were ruined by heavy rain. Manager Denis Smith had hoped to give fit again striker Lee Jones and Welsh defender Shaun Pejic a chance to prove their fitness before Saturday's match at home to Stockport County. Smith also wanted some of his first team regulars to get some match practice. But a waterlogged pitch at Blackpool's Bloomfield Road forced the match to be postponed. |
