Trundle Faces Spell On The Sidelines

Swansea City's FA Cup hero Lee Trundle is set for three weeks on the sidelines with a depressed fracture of the cheekbone.

The 27-year-old striker scored the late winner in Saturday's shock FA Cup victory over Preston in the fourth round despite being caught in the face by an elbow from PNE's Claude Davis during the first half.

Trundle had an operation on Sunday, but is not expected back for at least two weeks, possible three.

This will be a big blow for Swansea, as Trundle has scored 20 goals in just 25 starts for the Swans this season.
