Quakers boss David Hodgson hopes to complete a loan move for Sunderland striker Neil Teggart this week, after the initial move had to be called off due to league rules - which state that a club which is in administration cannot have a sqaud of over 20 players.

David Hodgson is set terminate two un-named players contracts this week as he seeks to make space for Teggert to come in.

Speaking to the Evening Gazette Hodgson said: "Sunderland manager Mick McCarthy has been a huge help, and they are paying Teggart's wages.

"He's keen to come and has been frustrated by the delay. We have arranged a practice match against Harrogate tomorrow, and he will play in that.

"We're hoping to play at home, but it depends whether the groundsman thinks that the pitch can take it after all the rain. If not we'll play it away."
