Results:
Bury 2 - 1 Torquay United 2,770
Cambridge United 2 - 0 York City 5,120
Oxford United 0 - 0 Boston United 6,050
More:
Torquay suffered a blow in their automatic promotion hopes on Friday, as they were defeated by Bury. They currently lie in fourth place, with 68 points having played 41 games. Fifth placed Mansfield Town lie on 68 points also, but have only played 40 games. They take on Darlington at the Reynolds Arena on Saturday 10th.
York City remain in the relegation zone following a disappointing 2-0 defeat at Cambridge. York were once aiming for promotion via the play-offs, but with six defeats and two draws, only 2 points have been earned from their last eight games, while, also from these games, a goal difference of minus -14 has been recorded. Cambridge look safe, but it is still pretty tight at the foot of the table, with just 6 pts seperating 16th and 23rd place.
Oxford United were held to a goalless draw at home by Boston United as their bid to hold on to a play-off place continues. Boston look fairly safe in the middle of the table.
