Kuyt disappointed with van Nistelrooy

Liverpool and Holland striker Dirk Kuyt spoke today of his disappointment with fellow Dutchman Ruud van Nistelrooy's comments on Holland coach Marco van Basten.

Dirk Kuyt is disappointed with the fact that Ruud van Nistelrooy made critical remarks about Marco van Basten in the Dutch press. Van Nistelrooy slammed van Basten's selection policy and stated that San Marco only picks players he personally likes.

Kuyt fears these comments will only affect the morale within the Holland team. The Liverpool striker stated on Dutch radio show 'Langs de lijn':

"He (van Nistelrooy) has an opinion, we all respect that but he shouldn't have made it publicly known. It's not professional to say such things during an interview."

"This is not an attack against van Nistelrooy, I like him as person but I think it wasn't wise what he did and I think he should know that."
