AC Milan interest for Ajax goalkeeper

Ajax goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg is subject of interest from Italian giants AC Milan. Ancelotti's team indentified Stekelenburg as ideal Dida replacement, who is rumoured to be leaving for Brazilian side Corinthians.

Dida is since 2002 AC Milan's first choice goalkeeper and the Brazilian is handed a new contract. Dida, who retired from international football last week, is in doubt whether he wants to renew his contract with Milan.

Corinthians are interested in the 33-year old and would love to bring Dida back to Brazil.

AC Milan are already looking for a suitable replacement might Dida leave. According to the Italian paper Tuttosport Milan have Maarten Stekelenburg high on their short list.

The third choice Holland keeper has a contract with Ajax until the summer of 2008.
