Aragones determined to carry on

Luis Aragones has said he will not offer to resign again as coach of Spain. Spain's 2-0 loss to Sweden last Saturday has lead to even more critism just after Aragones was slammed for not picking Real Madrid star Raúl.

Although Spain's woeful form continues Luis Aragones is determined to carry on as coach and lead his team to Euro 2008.

"I feel strong enough to carry on," said Aragones after the 2-0 defeat against Sweden.

"I'm not going to make any move to resign. Whether I continue or not will depend on the Federation and the press.

"When you lose two important games things are obviously difficult, but I've spent a long time in football and dealt with situations like this before."
