Fiorentina trail Heerenveen ace

Fiorentina are watching SC Heerenveen defender Pieter Hansson closely. The Swedish international was very close to a move away from Heerenveen last summer, when a transfer to Greece side Panathinaikos felt through just before the close of the transfer window.

Pieter Hansson attracted interest from a host of European clubs with his consistent performances for SC Heerenveen in both domestic and European competions.

Fiorentina are willing to offer Hansson a two year deal according to Swedish paper 'Expressen'.

The 29-year old stated that he is flattered by the news but that his thoughts currently remain with Heerenveen.
