New Feyenoord signing Angelos Charisteas finally broke his scoring duck with today's equaliser against Roda JC. Feyenoord continued their 'comeback' serie with another win today in Kerkrade against Roda JC (2-1).

Angelos Charisteas was surprisingly bought as Dirk Kuyt replacement during the summer which lead to fans' protests at the start of the season. The Greece striker didn't score in his first six games for Feyenoord and the criticism got only worse. Charisteas broke his scoring duck today scoring the equaliser in Feyenoord's 2-1 triumph over Roda JC.

Charisteas spoke today of his relieve after scoring his first goal for Feyenoord:

"Off course, it's weird for the fans that a former Ajax striker had to replace their most loved player. It was hard to get so much criticism though, before I even kicked a ball people were already slating me. Today's goal won't turn me into a direct fans favourite but it felt as a big relieve. I'm glad we took the three points today and I hope we can build on today's performances."
