Milan denies Cassano interest

AC Milan's sporting director Adriano Galliani has denied his interest in buying Real Madrid forward Antonio Cassano. The 24-year old has fallen out of favour at Real since he insulted manager Fabio Capello in front of his team mates.

"We will not bid for Antonio. The story will be different at the end of the season though. I think of Cassano as a sympathetic person but I don't exactly know what happened in the dressing room with Fabio Capello. Fabio has always meant a lot to Cassano, it's a very strange situation at the moment." According Galliani.

According to many Italian and Spanish papers Cassano, who is training seperately from the team at the moment, will move in January. A loan move to Serie B side Napoli has been moted in several Italian papers.
