Man City trail Dutch striker

Manchester City are trailing Exelsior's in-form forward Andwele Slory. City boss Stuart Pearce has been alerted to the capabilities of the Surinam-born star, who has scored five goals and provided four assists in ten Eredivisie appearances.

Slory would provide more attacking options for Man City if they would decide to sign him. The pacey forward stated today that he would relish the opportunity to play in England one day.

"I think that the football in the United Kingdom is something that interests me," he told Dutch paper AD.

"But there is no use in occupying myself with that now."

Feyenoord have long been interested in the 24-year-old and have the option to sign him next year.
