2004: Copa de Portugal (Benfica), 2004: Intertoto (Villarreal CF) and 2006: Copa del Rei (RCD Espanyol) are the acheivements of the player a struggling Leeds United managed to sign on loan to save their season from relegation to League 1.
Armando Sa's contribution to those titles mentioned above can be speculated all day but the fact that he has played at the highest level consistently in the past and has also been a regular for his country ( 16 caps ) , explains the hype surrounding this signing in Leeds .
Being in a peeved state himself after not playing much football off late , Armando Sa would be welcoming this move with delight as Leeds United provides a different challenge to him . Leeds lie in the 23rd position of England's 2nd tier of Football called the Championship . They are just one win away from safety and Armando Sa's quality would be a breath of fresh for the depleted club who might use him as a winger or even a full back .
