Spurs' manager hints at Sheringham move

Tottenham manager, Martin Jol, has hinted at a move for 40-year old striker Teddy Sheringham. Although West Ham United striker Marlon Harewood remains his top target.

It's believed that Spurs are currently working on a deal for, Sheringham's colleague at West Ham, Marlon Harewood. A fee of £8 million is being mooted. If a deal fails to materialise, Jol could opt to offer Sheringham his third spell at White Hart Lane.

Any deal would depend on Spurs’ Egypt striker Mido agreeing a £3m move to Manchester City or Celta Vigo.
