Cassano to star in Euro 2004

Giovanni Trapattoni, has opened the door for Roma's Antonio Cassano, to join the Italian national team in Portugal. Cassano who broke into the national team just before Christmas has contiuned to improve.

Cassano's almost telepathic understanding with his Roma teammate Francesco Totti could also be an important factor.

The two stared on Sunday night as the disassembled an Inter side, that struggled to cope with the youngster.

I believe Cassano is our best bet for success in Portugal, and a chance to wash the memories of the last final firmly from our minds.
