Juventus to offer Miccoli contract extension

Fabrizio Miccoli is to be offered a deal with Juventus that would see him remain at the club until 2007. The Italian international only moved to Juventus from Perugia last season but has been impressive throughout his time at Juve.

In what has be a poor season for Juve's high standards Miccoli has provided one of the few bright spots for fans, and the Turin giants want to reward that progress.

Showing his cool while scoring a penalty 3 times against Brescia on Sunday, Miccoli is said to be close to signing and the new deal could be announced as soon as April.
