Inter Milan in for Manchester United target

Inter Milan have approached Porto with a view to signing fullback Paulo Ferreria. Giacinto Facchetini the Inter president holds the player in the highest regard.

But they can expect competition from Manchester United who have targeted the 25 year old as one of their main summer purchases.

This would be Faccetini's first major signing since becoming president and he is determined to beat the Old Trafford Board to the player.

Porto are understood to have quoted both clubs a figure of ten million pounds.
