Bologna news: Hidetoshi Nakata to Madrid?

Reports in the spanish press claim Hidetoshi Nakata is on the verge of leaving Italy and joining Spanish side Atletico Madrid. Madrid a reportedly very interested in the Japanese superstar.

What with Parma's current financial prediciment Nakata is expected to be available for transfer come the summer and although Bologna are keen to make his loan deal with them permanent they could very well be out-bid by Atletico.

Atletico have tried on and off for years for Nakata's signature, without success, it now looks like their time has arrived.
