Sampdoria and Chelsea join battle over brazilian

Adrian Sartorio Mezavilla a 22 year old Brazilian currently playing in Italy's C1 and having an outstanding season, is the focus of a complex transfer wrangle between the Premership and Seria A.

Lanciano currently in C1 has been apprroached about the youngsters availability by both Sampdoria and Chelsea, and Chelsea are hoping that the fact that Mezavilla's parents both live in London will help their cause.

According to press reports Chelsea already have officals in Italy to discuss contracts, but Samp are hoping to get there first with a deal to keep Adrian in Italy.
