Inter Milan to beat Manchester United to signing?

Defender Nemanja Vidic, suddenly finds himself a very wanted man, as Inter Milan, Manchester United, Barcelona and at a very outside bet Parma all fight for his signature.

But it is Inter who now have the upper hand, with Belgrade over the players future.

Inter are believed to be offering 4 Million, and chief Marco Branca is meeting Red Star officials to that end. However the deal is complicated as Parma have first option on the player, but with their current financial woes they could be presuaded to step aside.

Manchester United however are not giving up yet and are believed, if rumours are true, to be about to match Inter's bid.
