Real out of race for Roma Star Chelsea now clear

Chelsea were given a boost in their pursuit of Roma star Walter Samuel, when Real Madrid ruled themeselves out of the race for the central defender.

Samuel has of course admited that he will be leaving Roma in the summer and would like a crack at premership life with Chelsea, but Real had also been heavily tipped, but with this news it looks like Chelsea barring some late interest from Juventus, will be left alone with Inter Milan in a race for his signature.

It is expected that whoever does eventually sign him, will have to pay £15 Million.
