Inter Milan after Leeds players

Although they have had a long connection with Striker Mark Viduka, it looks like its his partner that really interests the Nerazzuri, who have been alerted to the possibility that Smith would be available, should Leeds be relegated.

Smith is fiercly loyal to Leeds and prehaps a move abroad should Leeds be relegated might be easier for a leeds fan to bear.

A hosts of premership sides are also interested in Smith first and foremost would be Newcastle United, where his good friend and ex-teamate Woodgate plays and the player himself has expressed a preference to go to, should he leave Leeds.

But whether the news of the interest shown by Inter would be enough to change his mind, only time will tell.
