Perugia Hey Gaucci let us play our season

Perugia president Luciano Gaucci descison to end the season early has been met with an angry response by the city and players, the players have in fact took the extraodinary step of appealing to their chairman to allow them to play (surely a first in this day and age).

With him choosing not to play the rest of the season due to bad refereeing descisions (although I must admit I have some sympathy as he has a point) this has to be shot in the foot for the club.

Although probably already relegated and with only pride to play for surely they should be allowed to play for that alone?

Serse Cosmi who in my opinion is a highly talented coach and man, should be allowed what will surely be his swansong with Perugia, and although publicly he has backed Gaucci, he must secretly be releshing the chance to play the remaining games.

Gaucci has been well served by Cosmi and the people of Perugia, maybe its time to back down a bit and give them what they really want, instead of the odd joke sentiment.
