Roma tempted by Chelsea offer admits agent

According to Walter Samuel's agent Abel Balbo Celsea have ade a huge offer for the player and that offer is being seriously considered by both the club and the player.

The Argentinian is one of the best defenders in the world and with John Terry could form a more than impress defensive heart for Chelsea.

Speaking to the Guardian newspaper the agent went on to say: "Chelsea have made a big offer that Roma are considering, Chelsea's offer is huge and will be impossible for both the player and Roma to refuse."

Although his contract does not run out until 2006 sources in Rome have all but confirmed that the player will be leaving the capitial in the summer, it was only the destination that remained the mystery, but it is now looking increasingly likely that Russian billions have again won the player.
