Italian Football News: Buy out in Turin?

Franco Cimminelli the man who owns Serie B side Torino has had meetings with potential Latvian buyer Aleksandrs Basharin as the entrepreneur begins to seriously consider buying the club. Following relegation from Serie A, the Turin based side have not found life easy.

Terminally short of cash and stuck mid-table in Serie B, this could be just the boost for the once great club and its long suffering fans.

Once one of the greatest (if not actually the greatest) sides in Italy times have become increasingly tough for Torino and if ever a club was deserving of good news it has to be this one.

But it also appears that he may not be the only interested buyer, with the club confirming that other parties are indeed interested.

Although it has already been up for sale for a year at this point and Aleksandrs Basharin seemingly the only named bidder during that time, the club are very hopeful of a good solution for all concerned.

In a bit of sad news for Torino, club captain Diego Fuser will have his playing contract terminated for personal reasons.
