Fiore's agent confirms Inter Interest

Federico Pastorello who is Stefano Fiore's agent has confirmed that there is interest off Inter Milan to sign the midfielder. There had been a great deal of interest shown by Spurs but this now looks unlikely as Fiore looks set to stay in Italy, although with a move North.

Federico Pastorello said: "It's difficult to see him staying at Lazio - he's contracted until 2005 and it seems to me complicated to assume that an extension can be done.

"The worst thing for the club would be if he left next year, the club does not want a repeat of the Stankovic case."

the possibility of a swap plus cash deal involving Kallon has been mentioned and the agent seams to indicate that this could very well be a possibility.
