Milan player in come and get me plea to Arsenal

Christian Abbiati who almost joined Arsenal last summer, now seams to be regretting his choice to remain in Italy and appears to be looking for a summer move to the English Champions. Stuck on the bench behind the impressive Dida is becoming too much for the 28 year old keeper.

Although contracted until 2008, he admits that a move to the premership is a distinct possibility, admitting that it had been a tough season for him, he also spoke of the difficulty of finding a new side, saying that Milan are such a massive side it would have to be someone of Arsenal,s stature to tempt him away from the San Siro.

He also believes that a move to Arsenal would help his chances in the national side. Arsenal made aproaches last season, before switching their attentions elsewhere, this summer they could be in luck.
