Juventus, Inter and Man Utd to battle for Chelsea

The news that England international and Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard will probably be leaving London in the summer, over contract problems has seen the start of a scirmish that is likely to run and run over the next few weeks on who will eventually grab his signature.
A fact that could well infuriate Chelsea fans is Frank is simply not happy, he is not happy that he is earning less than half of what team mates Veron and Crespo are earning, he is not happy that they are stalling over a contract, and an unhappy star usually means a star thats leaving.
The fact that Chelsea seam willing to pay millions for just about every midfielder on the planet yet appear incapable of securing the services of their own player of the season, will mystify large sections of Chelsea fans and a well talked about move to possibly Manchester United, will have them spitting out there half time champers.
But the Italian press believe that Italy is a far more likely destination for Lampard, with Inter Milan and Juventus leading the way. Juventus could very well be in poll position in that Chelsea are desperate to land Nedved and Trezeguet, so it is not out of the realms of possibility that they could include Lampard in transfer negotations.
Inter on the other hand can not be ruled out, Lampard is rated at around 20 million, but Inter are a club that have never been afraid to splash the cash. Whatever happens it looks likely to be a busy summer between England and Italy.
