David Trezeguet took a step closer to the premership and Chelsea after an extrodinary rant at his club Juventus. Trezeguet had already been expected to leave in the summer with Chelsea or Barcelona the most likely destinations,

as Juventus would want to cash in on him and not watch him leave on a free next year. But the Frenchman now seams to have burnt any bridges to the Turin based side with a rant from France's euro 2004 base.

"The club gave me their word but they haven’t maintained their promise," stated Trezeguet

"They shouldn’t act in such a way. I’ve demonstrated my worth and now it is up to them to meet my demands."

"I feel as good as ever," he continued "There is talk of Fernando Morientes and Alberto Gilardino joining the club.

"But whoever takes my place in the side will have to score 20 goals a season and that won’t be easy."
