Spurs to move in for Thuram

New Spurs coach Jacques Santini wants his fellow country man Lilian Thuram to join him in London for the start of next season, which could clear the way for Carr to leave White Hart Lane. According to the Italian press, spurs have actually been watching Thuram for 18 months,

But now with Santini in charge they are finaly ready to make their move, they are understood to be ready to offer 4 million for the international right-back.

It is claimed that Thuram would be more than happy to link up with Santini and try his luck in the Premership.
