Aston Villa Striker's move to Italy?

Siena director general Nelso Ricci is interested in taking Astin Villa striker Marcus Allback to the club. He flew out to Portugal to have personal talks with the Swedish international, as he attempts to presuade him that Italy is the best place for him.

Allback is understood to be keen on the move, but less keen on the wage cut he will have to make should the move become a reality. Siena have stated that they cannot match his current wages of 1.4 million a year, but the are still confident of being able to land their man.
