According to the Italian press, Chelsea will want to bring Jon Dahl Tomasson to Stamford Bridge, should Hernan Crespo's loan move become permanent in January. It is being intimated that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich,
sees Tomasson as an ideal replacement for Adrian Mutu, following his spectacular fall from grace.
It would not be Tomasson’s first time in the Premiership, following an unsuccessful time at Newcastle; he went on to become a respected striker in Europe.
As for Milan’s part, Coach Carlo Ancelotti has made it clear that he wants a permanent deal thrashed out for the Argentine striker come the January transfer window.
