Spurs and Brescia in for Buffel

As soon as the Belguim international Thomas Buffel announced he wanted to leave Feyenoord, both Brescia and Spurs began lining up cut price bids, which are believed to be in the region of one million.
Buffel has fell out of first team contention since the arrival of coach Rudd Gullit in the summer and in currently unhappy in Holland. The Italian press feel that although he seams to favour a move to Spurs and the Premership, Brescia could still be in with a chance, and indeed Brescia have intimated that they are willing to fight for a player they deam to be a very good prospect.
