Chelsea target out till the end of the year.

Reports in Italy are saying that AC Milan and Chelsea target Jon Dahl Tomasson will be out of action until the New Year. Tomasson fell heavily, straining his back when Parma’s Sebastien Frey ran into him in the stages of yesterday’s 2-1 victory at the Stadio Tardini.

He managed to carry on until the final whistle but now comes the news that he will have to undergo tests to see what the problem actually is. Whether this makes him more or less likely to leave in the New Year only time will tell, but it does make Milan more likely to enter the transfer market themselves.
