Milan to turn down Chelsea

It’s looking very unlikely this morning that AC Milan will turn Hernan Crespo's loan into a permanent deal. They are not willing to pay the 6.8 million price tag that Chelsea have slapped on the player and are not willing to negotiate.

This is very bad news for Crespo himself, who seems to have set his heart on a move back to Italy and had already agreed personal terms, with Milan. Chelsea are after Shevchenko and while it is extremely unlikely that he will leave Milan for any amount of money, they hope to use Crespo as a bargaining chip.
