Juventus to concentrate efforts on Spurs Star

Juventus have made Spurs defender Ledley King their top transfer target, but do not expect any move to happen before the summer. The news that King does not want to go to Arsenal was met with celebrations in Turin.

Juventus believe that the young Spurs star can go on to become a great acquisition for them, and be at the core of their defence for many years to come. They are so convinced by the player that they are willing to part with 20 million pounds to make the deal a reality.

Although any approach in January is thought unlikely in the Italian press, the Corrie della Sera refuses to rule it out all together, still it is more likely that it will be the summer before anything happens.

There are rumours that Juventus will try and sweeten the deal by letting an as yet unnamed player, join Spurs in January. More on this as soon as it breaks in Italy.
