German move for Arsenal Star?

Borussia Monchengladbach are preparing to persuade Arsenal keeper Jens Lehmann to return to Germany. They feel that with him warming the bench at Highbury they have a good chance of landing their target. It has been rumoured for a while now that the keeper is unhappy at Arsenal.

A return to Germany could very well appeal to him, it would certainly appeal to Monchengladbach's director of football Christian Hochstatter, who stated:

"Normally, such a transfer would be difficult to achieve, but if Jens sits on the bench for much longer, then who knows what happens?

"When somebody like Lehmann becomes available then you've certainly got to consider it."
