Lizarazu makes Lazarus impression in Munich

Bixente Lizarazu has returned to his adopted home of Bayern Munich in a surprise move after leaving them in the summer for Marseille. He had fallen of favour at Marseille Velodrome following the recent arrival of Philippe Troussier as coach.

He has signed on a free which will run until the end of the season. Bayern had struggled to find anyone to fill the left back role vacated by Lizarazu, so he should be able to slot straight back in.
